Who or what annoyed you? Who or what is causing you anxiety? Connect to the situation that feels contracting and push them/it away. Try to say the words that were UNSAID in this situation. There is a lot of energy when we allow the words to come out that were surpressed.

Making noises or expressing yourself assertively can feel challenging at the beggining. That’s ok. Be gentle with yourself and meet your personal edge. If you’re usually struggling to express vocally your sounds may not be that loud, but only you know when you meet your personal edge.

Note into your journal how you are feeling before practising and afterwards. Start right now. And after completing scan your body again & journal. Training our inner witness is key to somatic healing.

If you feel overwhelmed by emotions that arise, try pushing harder. If you can stay present with the discomfort, notice the sensations in your body and BREATH. Watch how a tight heaviness can shift to lightness and a tear can feel equisit as it’s rolling down your check.
